Saarland University and University of Alicante recently hosted the first one-week modules of the International Deans’ Course Latin-American for deans and vice-deans interested in learning more about university management. The course, which was taught by experts in the field, covered a wide range of topics, including:
- Human Resources Management
- University-Industry Cooperation
- Quality and Acreditation
- Internationalisation
- Online & Curricular Strategies
- Research Management
In addition to lectures and discussions, the course also included case studies and simulations to give participants the opportunity to apply what they were learning to real-world situations.
The course was well-attended by for deans and vice-deans from a variety of countries and backgrounds, including engineering, sciences, psychology and law. Participants praised the course for its comprehensive coverage of university topics, its experienced and knowledgeable instructors, and its interactive and engaging format.
