DIES IDC LA – ALUMNI CONFERENCE 2024

Dear Alumnus/a of the DIES IDC LA, 

Herewith, you are cordially invited to participate in the upcoming Alumni Conference 2024, which will take place on 15 and 16 March 2024 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. This activity will be hosted by Universidad del Valle de Guatemala (UVG). 

The Alumni Conference is the culminating activity of the Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies – International Deans’ Course Latin America (DIES IDC LA), jointly organised by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK), Saarland University (Germany), and the University of Alicante (Spain). The Alumni Conference is an annual alumni meeting held by the end of Module IV in a partner institution in Latin America to strengthen networking among the DIES IDC LA Alumni and to analyse the main problems and challenges in Higher Education. The agenda of the event is still to be determined and you will receive further notifications in this regard in the future.

 

Registration & Confirmation of Participation 

Participation in this event is free of charge for Alumni.

Attendees are required to register themselves by completing the Alumni Conference 2024 – Registration Form.

The deadline for registration to attend the event is 23 February 2024 at 23:59 CET. After this date, registrations will not be accepted. 

Important notice: We welcome applications from Alumni willing to become a speaker or panellist at the Conference, please check the document “Call for Abstracts & Proposals”, as a different (and earlier) deadline applies: 15 January 2024 at 23:59 CET. Page 2 

 

Conference topics 

The Alumni Conference 2024 will be focused on three main topics as indicated below. The extent to which the event will deal with one or the other topic will depend on the abstracts/proposals received.
